1. A Beach Wedding
Have your bridesmaids decked out beach-inspired colored gown and design that white wedding gown that's light, airy and fuss-free for the beach. You can even go for a barefoot ceremony! Summer is the only time when the beach is perfect for a wedding. The soft waves crashing against the sand acts as the background music as you exchange vows with your husband-to-be. Use shells, beach rocks and even starfish as decor. Have your bouquet decorated with iceberg roses and spray roses with copper accents to complement with the soft colors of the beach. For a pop of color, use deep orange lilies and orange vanda orchids instead.
2. A Nautical or Navy Wedding
Planning to get married on a boat, cruise or yacht? Why not! Don't forget the anchors and little blue stripes against white when planning for the decor. Have your groom wear a navy blue tux. Wear a nautical-inspired "knots" headband to go with the theme. If you're committed to it, why not fashion your wedding gown as a sailor pin-up dress with matching sailor hat? For a more conservative touch, you can always add the theme to your bouquet of white roses by tying a blue-and-white-striped ribbon around it.
3. Garden Wedding
Gardens are wet and muddy and dishevelled during the rainy months but are in pristine condition during summer. Take advantage of the weather by getting married in a garden, surrounded with flowers and greenery. Choose pastel colors as your motif and line the aisle with lush white blooms. Arrange some lawn chairs and long tables all decked out in lace for the reception. Go crazy with the bouquet and centerpieces by combining purple flowers, green accents and white peonies.
4. Vintage Wedding
Vintage never gets old. Use delicate fabrics, especially lace and tulle, for your gown and bridesmaids'. Use wildflowers, mason jars, tea tins and leather clad books for centerpieces. Decorate the outdoor rustic furniture with a burlap sash to add a more vintage feel.
